The senses checkup is the BusinessDrs way to ensure that your top leadership team is open to new ideas, suggestions, and criticisms from those who are on the frontlines of work on a daily basis. This includes:
Hearing Assessing the processes that the leadership team employs to consider associate comments, suggestions, and criticisms as well as the feedback about this process from the associates.
Seeing Assessing the vision that the Leadership team has for the business and assessing the vision that the associates have or expect for the business. Where do they see the company in the future?
Feeling This part of the Senses Checkup assesses how your leadership team and associates feel about the general business operations, each other, and the level of passion they have for what they do.
Taste No, they will not literally taste the business. This part of the Senses Checkup provides BusinessDrs with an overall taste, or impression of professionalism and sense of approach, the leadership team and associates have for the business under assessment. This will tie in later to the overall operationalization of the strategic plan.
These Checkups in the past have been a huge hit with associates and leaders. We have found that overall, it is a very enjoyable and motivating kick-off for positive improvement to come!
BusinessDrs employs a participative approach to change. When leadership and associates feel a sense of ownership and involvement in positive change they tend to become more accountable; not only to themselves, but also to the business. Feedback from these sessions often includes how some associates have implemented aspects of these strategies at home, with their friends, and other personal endeavors.
